Barnabas will be housed in a foundation (stichting) that is now being set up.

Visiting the website
You can view this website without us storing any personal data about you. We use no tracking cookies, no advertising, no analytics services and no scripts or fonts from other parties. Everything is loaded from our own server.
Cookies
- If you choose a language with EN | NL, we remember that choice for a year in a cookie named lang. It only contains nl or en.
- If you log in to the materials, a session cookie keeps you logged in on that device for 30 days.
These are functional cookies. They need no consent, which is why you see no cookie banner.
Server logs
The server keeps technical logs to detect faults and abuse: which page was requested, when, and whether it worked. We use them only for that and keep them for 30 days.
The contact form
If you fill in the contact form, we store what you enter: your name, your church or organisation, your email address, your message and your phone number if you give it. We also store the language, the page where you filled in the form, the time and your IP address.
We use this only to reply to you about Barnabas and a possible pilot. The Barnabas administrators receive a notification by email. We use your IP address only to limit abuse and erase it after 30 days. We delete the request itself after two years, or sooner if you ask.
The materials
The materials (access code, login link and handouts) have their own terms, which explain what data is stored there. Read them in the terms for the materials.
Where your data is kept
The website and the database run on a Hetzner server in the European Union. Email, such as login links and contact form notifications, is sent through Bird. We do not give your data to others and never sell it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may see your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also object, have its use restricted or ask for a copy to take with you. To do so, email privacy@barnabas.pro. We reply within a month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
