Between Sundays there is a week. People know more than ever, and more often feel alone, stuck or tired. Barnabas does not answer that with one more distraction, but with calm: three to five minutes a day. A word from Scripture, a question, a conversation, a small act.
Why Barnabas fits your church
Rooted in Scripture
Every lesson comes from the Bible and tested wisdom. Plain in tone, without spiritual pressure.
Beside the newcomer
Barnabas vouched for Saul when the church still feared him, and came alongside the new believers (Acts 9 and 11). Easy to join for the people you want to reach.
Discipleship during the week
What starts on Sunday continues at home, without asking extra hands from the church council.
How it works
Wisdom · Reflection · Conversation · Action · Growth
Each day a small rhythm of a few minutes. The first track we are building is Barnabas Marriage (90 days): both partners first answer a question separately, then share their answers together. That opens honest conversations that would not easily happen otherwise.
What you need not worry about
Privacy
The church never sees personal answers, only whether someone takes part. Trust is the foundation.
Safety
Protecting children from the start: a certificate of conduct (VOG) for youth leaders, a confidential adviser and no one-to-one contact between an adult and a minor. Careful under the GDPR. Read more about safety.
Calm, unlike social media
No likes, no counters, no algorithm, no endless scroll. The screen points outward: to each other and to God.
Guidance as a companion
Barnabas asks questions, summarises and points to Scripture. No authority, no statements beyond the source.
The pilot
What a pilot involves
- One track with a small group, for example 5 to 8 couples or one small group.
- The length of one track (30 or 90 days), at your pace.
- We set everything up; you don't need to arrange anything technical.
- One contact person in the church and a short evaluation afterwards.
- Privacy and safety from the first day. No cost, no obligation.
Half an hour of conversation is enough to see whether it fits your church.
