Who is behind it
Barnabas started as a question: how can you help people grow in faith during the week, without the pull of social media? A small group of people is working on that now, helped by churches that want to join a pilot.
barnabas.pro also hosts handouts from partners such as Royal Mission, for people who have an access code.
The name
In Acts 4:36, Joseph is given the name Barnabas: son of encouragement. He vouched for Saul when the church still feared the former persecutor (Acts 9), and he went to Antioch to encourage the new believers (Acts 11). Not above you, but beside you. That is what Barnabas stands for.
The logo is two lines: a shorter one that stands, and a longer one that rises and bends gently over the first. An arm around the shoulder.
